The one + only Antal Heitlager serves up a proper primer on South African jazz, while Steve Spiffler colors outside the lines with a tape dedicated to Chicago’s own Lil’ Chano from the 79th, better known as Grammy-nominated Chance The Rapper. Last, but certainly, not least — our personal fave, SassyBlack, debuts the first in a new series of pop-inspired beat tapes, made exclusively of N’SYNC samples.
