Pimps of Joytime, the Williamsburg, Brooklyn funk outfit we shared with y’all last week, are back at it with a new offering.

The funkier-than-a-batch-of-tube-socks styled group have dropped their latest studio album, Third Wall Chronicles, and are following it up with this really dope acoustic video for the song, “Little Bit of Something”.

Brian Jay, who is a part of a heavyweight group of A-list talent, has worked with such stars as Cyril Neville, James Andrews, Corey Henry, Zigaboo Modiste and Grammy Award-nominated blues artist Cedric Burnside. He gathers up his fellow musicians to give us little bit of pimpin’, which is better than a whole lot of nothing.

“It was a blast just coming in and making a few things larger and more colorful,” Steve Berlin said. “He has the remarkable ability to get an idea, get a sound and make it real at a speed that I’ve never seen before.

As the Pimps of Joytime continue to break down the walls of negativity to infuse real love, creativity and togetherness on Third Wall Chronicles — please celebrate the premiere of this acoustic video for “Little Bit of Something,” below, and circle your calendars to see when they will be in a city near you.
