Following their 2020 election victory, President-Elect Joe Biden and Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris addressed the nation with televised speeches. For instance, Harris walked onto the stage to the Mary J Blige’s song “Work That,” and Biden briskly jogged out to stage to the song “We Take Care of our Own” by Bruce Springsteen.
After the speeches, family members joined Biden and Harris on stage, while fireworks boomed and twinkled. Along with the light show, a familiar song played, “A Sky Full of Stars” by Coldplay, which was not a coincidence.

“Beau Biden certainly loomed large over everything tonight.”
She said Coldplay was Beau’s “favorite band” and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin performed at Beau’s funeral, quote, “after he had heard that Beau Biden was a fan of his music.” That was a truly special touch that moved many Americans.
