The second offering from Iman Omari’s long awaited IHY LP finds him connecting with longtime friends Quelle Chris + Mndsgn for “So Real”.
Iman Omari follows up his Anna Wise-featured premiere with an ecstasy-inducing song called, “So Real”. Featuring longtime collaborators Quelle Chris and Mndsgn — this song finds Iman going straight for the soul with soothing croons meant to lull you into submission.
“I wanted to make something that embodied that old school cool with a new school twist,” Iman told the Fader over email. “Mndsgn, Quelle and I tapped into our old souls.” An interestingly intriguing offering from the man who has delivered his first vocal album in over three years, Iman Omari’s IHY, is worth the wait as it is coming soon on Fresh Selects / Vibe Music Collective.
