Would you wear a MLK flannel shirt?

On Monday, Supreme released the lookbook for its spring/summer 2018 season. The collection features an in an interesting set of pieces containing the likeness of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The pieces include a flannel and a collection of hoodies. This collection comes just weeks after the release of a Dodge commercial featuring the voice of King. Critics were upset at the King family for letting it happen, considering that King had harsh thoughts on capitalism.

As soon as the lookbook was released, critics went to twitter to let their discomfort be known.

It should be noted that this isn’t the first time Supreme has done something like this. In 2015 the brand released hoodies featuring the likeness of Malcolm X.
